Don’t miss this presentation from Lezlee Whiting, Custom Fit Senior Officer at Uintah Basin Technical College (UBTech), all about the Custom Fit program! The program is administered through a dynamic partnership between Utah System of Higher Education Custom Fit institutions (like Uintah Basin Technical College), the state of Utah, and local businesses. Custom Fit will work with for-profit companies of all sizes across Duchesne, Uintah, and Daggett counties in need of specific technical training, safety certifications, computer skills, soft skills, leadership, service improvements—anything that helps your workforce.

But wait! There’s more! Custom Fit also has funding to cover 40% of the cost of the training that your business needs and the training can be taken anywhere.

2024 Vernal Equinox Celebration

The Vernal Downtown Alliance invites all downtown businesses to participate in the first annual Vernal Equinox Celebration to welcome Spring back to downtown Vernal! The vernal equinox, also known as the spring equinox, marks the first day of Spring, and this year, it takes place on Tuesday, March 19.

  • Sharing the Vernal Downtown Alliance Facebook posts and tagging us @VernalDowntownAlliance.

  • Downloading the Vernal Equinox Celebration graphic to use in your own social media posts

  • Offering a sale, special, or activity at your downtown business
